The mission of Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CHUCAS, Zhejiang Cancer Hospital) Outpatient Department is to contribute to the prevention and elimination of cancer through outstanding patient-centered comprehensive diagnosis, pragmatic assistance, continuous follow-ups as well as preclinical cancer prevention and educational healthcare consultation.

Our vision is the premiere cancer specialized outpatient departments, recognized for our considerate patient care and renowned reputation.

Our Services

The Outpatient Clinic provides the following services: registration, consultation, printing check sheets, renting wheel chairs and other convenient service in the lobby. The Outpatient clinic also has a treatment room and nursing clinic.

In order to meet our patient’s needs, the clinic has implemented series of measures to ensure optimal service. Our goal is to create a better environment for our patients and to continually improve our quality of care.

Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Outpatient Department can provide the following assistance:

  • Provide an appointment service
  • Medical procedure explanations
  • Review medical files prior to arrival to verify the possibility of treatments
  • Schedule the first medical consultation

However, Center cannot provide the following:

  • Treatment plan prior to arrival in China
  • Translation of medical files from Chinese to English

Information to be submitted:

Prior to arrival at Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences for a consultation or treatment, if you have following information, please submit it to the outpatient department by email.

  • Medical and treatment history
  • Eventual pathological, laboratory, surgical reports
  • Relevant radiological reports and images: CT, X-rays, MRI, PET-CT, US, bone scans

Once all the above documents are submitted, the Outpatient Department will forward your case to a physician from the related specialty to define whether or not we have treatment options available for you.

Arrive hospital

If you arrive at hospital, we will then arrange a formal doctor consultation. You will need to provide the following information prior to arrival: full name, sex, passport number, date of birth, occupation, contact number, address, contact person's name and phone number.
